Copyright Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
This Copyright Policy explains how Shree Shyam Kart ("Mihu", "we", "our", or "us") handles intellectual property rights in connection with content appearing on the Mihu platform, including our mobile application and website at https://mihuapp.com ("Platform"). This Policy applies to all users and content contributors. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.
1 User-Submitted Content
Mihu operates as an open platform where individual users may submit, upload, or share content — including images, videos, audio, text, and template designs — for display or use within the app ("User Content").
Important: Mihu does not independently verify, pre-screen, or take ownership of User Content submitted by individual users. All responsibility for the originality, legality, and ownership of User Content rests solely with the user who submitted it.
By submitting User Content to the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You own all rights to the content, or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses from the rightful copyright owner.
- Your content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
- You have the full legal right to grant Mihu the license to display and distribute your content as described in our Terms of Service.
2 No Liability for User-Submitted Content
Mihu acts solely as an intermediary platform that facilitates the display of content submitted by its users. We do not create, curate, endorse, or assume ownership of User Content.
Mihu expressly disclaims all liability for any copyright infringement, intellectual property violation, or legal claim arising from User Content submitted by individual users. We cannot and do not uphold any claim for monetary compensation, damages, or royalties relating to User Content. Any such disputes are strictly between the content submitter and the claimant.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mihu shall not be held responsible or liable — whether directly or indirectly — for:
- Unauthorized use of copyrighted material within User Content.
- Financial losses, damages, or claims arising from User Content.
- Any third-party intellectual property disputes related to User Content.
- The accuracy, authenticity, or legality of any User Content displayed on the Platform.
3 Copyright Infringement Reporting
Mihu takes intellectual property rights seriously. If you believe that any content on our Platform infringes your copyright or the copyright of someone you represent, you may submit a takedown request to us.
We act fast. Upon receiving a valid copyright complaint, Mihu will remove or disable access to the reported content immediately, without requiring a court order.
To submit a copyright complaint, your request must include:
- Your full legal name and contact information (email address and phone number).
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- A clear identification of the specific content on the Platform that you claim is infringing (e.g., a link, screenshot, or description of where it appears in the app).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the identified content is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
- A declaration that the information in your complaint is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
4 How to Submit a Takedown Request
Send your copyright complaint via email to our designated copyright agent:
Copyright Complaints — Mihu (Shree Shyam Kart)
📧 Email: help@mihuapp.com
Please use the subject line: Copyright Infringement Notice – [Brief Description]. Incomplete or invalid requests may not be processed.
5 Takedown Process and Timeline
Once a valid copyright complaint is received, Mihu will:
- Acknowledge receipt of your complaint as soon as reasonably possible.
- Remove or disable access to the reported content promptly and without delay.
- Notify the user who submitted the content that their content has been removed due to a copyright complaint.
- Retain a record of the complaint for our internal compliance purposes.
Mihu will not mediate, arbitrate, or adjudicate any copyright dispute between a content submitter and a copyright claimant. Removal of content does not constitute an admission of wrongdoing by Mihu.
6 Counter-Notification
If your content was removed in response to a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was in error or based on a misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your full name and contact information.
- Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Mihu will review counter-notifications and, at our sole discretion, may restore removed content. We are not obligated to restore any content and assume no liability for decisions made in this regard.
7 Repeat Infringers
Mihu reserves the right to permanently suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are found to repeatedly submit content that infringes third-party copyrights. Repeat infringement determinations are made at Mihu's sole discretion.
8 Mihu's Own Intellectual Property
All original content created and owned by Mihu — including but not limited to the app interface, branding, logos, proprietary template designs, audio assets, and software — is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any Mihu-owned content without prior written permission.
9 Relationship to Other Policies
This Copyright Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, all of which together govern your use of the Mihu Platform. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
10 Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Copyright Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
